The conference is being held at the award winning Dalhousie Building at the University of Dundee.
The Dalhousie Building was designed to encourage innovation and creativity. It was named in honour of the University’s second Chancellor, the 16th Earl of Dalhousie, and opened by the Queen. It was named ‘Best Commercial/Public Building’ by the Dundee Institute of Architects in 2007.
The University of Dundee was named Scottish University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide in 2015 and 2016. It has been hailed for excellent teaching quality and student experience, being placed in the top ten in the UK for both key measures in the Good University Guide analysis. The Guide also noted the strength of research at the University and the institution’s economic, social and cultural impact.
